Dive Master

Undoubtedly the most thorough and comprehensive course of your underwater career, becoming a professional PADI Divemaster. If you want to change your career to diving, this is where it all begins. From now on, you'll have a passport that will open the doors of seas and oceans where to work, dedicating yourself to your passion, anywhere in the world. You'll need to complete the theory online before arriving at El Hierro, and then the fun begins. Three weeks of training during which we review rescue exercises and show you all the skills of the circuit that gets you ready to assist the instructor in the PADI program. This is particularly useful for those planning on taking the next upcoming Instructor Development Course. There will also be dive days when we just enjoy and learn to navigate the dive sites thoroughly, other days when we’ll do swimming and stamina tests, underwater equipment exchange or learn to map a dive spot. Undoubtedly an intense, nevertheless fun course, which we will gradually carry out until you are ready for the final goal; giving a briefing, guiding a dive, and even assisting and leading try dives for those taking the DSD Leader batch.

  • Depending on the season and the number of people taking the course, we can be flexible regarding the price and organization of the course. Ask for details.

What do you need?

  • Must have a PADI Rescue Diver and EFR diving certification or equivalent.
  • It is recommended to have some experience, ideally more than 50 dives.
  • Medical certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
Structure
  • Duration: Minimum 21 days (between 8:00 and 15:30)
  • Theory: Online from home with PADI e-learning (Approximately 10 to 12 hours)
  • Dives: 2 per day for at least 18 days of a minimum total stay of 3 weeks.
  • *Flexible. Some exercises may be challenging and require practice and repetition, we are flexible and adapt to you and the learning process until you feel confident.
